The Royal Oak offers the finest choice of Ales and food possible, with something for every appetite. Our warm decor and open fire make us a haven on cold winter days, whilst the spacious seating and lovely beer garden mean customers can enjoy a meal or drink al fresco during the summer months; The Royal Oak is perfect whatever the weather, throughout the year.

From the quality, award winning ales of Timothy Taylor who have been brewing here since 1858, to the good old fashioned friendly service and ample meals, The Royal Oak remains a popular establishment with both locals and visitors alike. Our pool table and big screen TV are well sited to ensure those with a passion for sport are satisfied at the same time as those just here for the superb dining, are not disturbed.
